RynoWorx 230 Gallon Sealcoat Sprayer System

Our spray systems are designed to work exclusively with Asphalt Emulsion Sealer (non-sanded, water-based).

Using any incompatible product will cause serious damage and void your warranty, including but not limited to:

• Sealers containing sand or aggregate
• Oil-based sealers
• Any other non-emulsion formulations

Consequences of using the wrong sealer include:

• Clogging or failure of the pump, requiring costly repairs
• Potential engine damage or complete failure (similar to running diesel fuel in a gasoline engine)

To protect your equipment and maintain full warranty coverage, use only compatible asphalt emulsion sealer without sand or additives. Always verify the product specifications before use.

The 230 gallon spray systems are self priming. To ensure self prime make sure:

• you are using an approved asphalt emulsion sealer.
• air is not sucking into the pump
• sealer is diluted with water as per the sealer dilution specs

Quick Guide: Flushing / Priming with Water

1. Close the main valve at the bottom of the tote.
2. Disconnect the suction hose from the tote.
3. Place the open end of the suction hose into a 5-gallon pail filled with clean water.
4. Switch the valve above the pump to spray mode.
5. Start the engine (keep it at low idle).
6. The pump will draw water from the pail, push it through the spray hose, and out the gun — spraying it right back into the same pail.
7. Let it recirculate like this for as long as needed

If your system isn’t recirculating or agitating the sealer, here are the most common causes and quick fixes:

1. Sealer Too Thick (Most Common Issue) The pump can’t build prime when the sealer is undiluted or under-diluted. → Solution: Dilute to 20–30% water (e.g., 20–30 L water per 100 L sealer). Mix thoroughly and test recirculation again.
2. Water Evaporation Overnight Water can evaporate from the tank, making the sealer too thick by morning. → Solution: Use a dipstick or measuring stick to check sealer level at end of day and before next use. If the level dropped, add enough water to return to the previous level (this restores proper dilution).
3. Ball Valve Position or Issue The ball valve on the pump outlet directs flow either back to the tank (for recirculation/agitation) or to the spray gun. → Solution: Make sure the valve is set to recirculate (flow directed to the top of the tank), not permanently or accidentally set to spray mode. Check that the valve isn’t stuck, damaged, or leaking.

Quick Checklist

• Dilute sealer to 20–30% water — mix well.
• Verify tank level hasn’t dropped (add water if needed).
• Confirm recirculation ball valve is positioned for tank return, not spray gun.
