Frequently Asked Questions

Absolutely we can cut almost any design into our LDPE material, to make custom stencils. Chances are, if you can dream it we can make it. Here is some examples of what we have done for our customers in the past.
  • Logo Stencils
  • Repeating Pattern Stencils for wall paint
  • Custom word stencils
  • Custom font stencils
Keep in mind we need to add in bracing where center pieces would fall out. For example the letters P, O, D etc, when cut would leave the center of the letter loose if we did not ad in some bracing to keep it attached to the letter. This can easily be filled in after the design has been painted on the surface.

There are advantages to both waterborne traffic paint, and solvent based (acetone) traffic paint. To make it easy we break down those advantages for you below:

Waterborne Traffic Paint

  • Waterborne traffic paint is a favorite these days because it is environmentally friendly.
  • Easy to clean. Simply flush your line striping equipment out with water.
  • Less fumes than solvent
  • Can be applied as low as 10 degrees Celsius (can vary depending on manufacturers specification)
  • Usually cheaper than solvent paint

Solvent Traffic Paint

  • Solvent traffic paint holds up better if you get hit with showers while painting
  • Better for cold weather. Can be applied as low as 0 degrees Celsius (can vary depending on manufacturers specification)
  • Must be cleaned / flushed with chemicals, water does not work.
When selecting a line painting machine it is important to consider the following:

Line striping machine usage

If you will only be using your machine 1 or 2 times per year you can probably get away with an entry level line painting machine, but if you plan on painting multiple jobs per year, you want to ensure you start out with a contractor grade, or high output contractor grade line painting machine.

How large will your line painting  jobs be?

If you plan on painting numerous large parking lots, you want to consider going with a higher output machine, this will enable you to paint faster and more efficiently. This is important, because even though the costs are great to get started, you will ultimately make those cost back quickly because you will be able to finish jobs faster, and take on more work. Your line striping machine is an investment, and the more efficient you can be, the more time you will save, and the more money you can make.

What is your budget?

Budget is an important consideration when purchasing a line painting machine, however it is the least important factor of the ones mentioned here today. Time is money, and even if you have to spend more up front to get a machine that will make you more efficient, that is money well spent. This is why we have partnered with some great lenders to offer some great options to finance your purchase, and pay off your investment over time.
